Whether you are planning to build a data center or search for a third-party provider (colocation, managed services, cloud, etc.), we can save you time, money, and frustration. At Fodere, we have over three decades of experience in data center related projects. As technology and delivery models change, we stay current enabling our clients to tap into our expertise on an as-needed basis.

Executing a project is not just identifying and completing a series of tasks. Success is driven by factors such as consensus, accountability, team building, and communication. We are senior level business and technology people who are equally comfortable conversing with a board chairman as with a line manager. This enables us to gain insight up and down your organization and in turn provide better guidance.

We work hard to engage with all of the stakeholders, inside and outside of your organization. We challenge your team’s assumptions in a constructive and collaborative way.

Our Point of View

We not only have the technical skills in most disciplines, we also have expertise in the processes of acquisition and management. We refer to these two distinct areas as the “whats” and the “hows”. Having Fodere as your third-party coach will ensure your team’s focus is aligned with your business goals.

We understand that you may have a long-term relationship with your vendor. Our goal is to make sure your business is getting the most from your vendor relationships. We act professionally but in a determined manner.

We Work Differently

While we are interested in having long-term relationships, we do not engage in long-term contract relationships. We prefer to conduct our consulting engagements in modules with defined, fixed fee engagements that address a set of distinct issues over a relatively short period of time. Our clients appreciate a stepped approach that allows them to define the specific needs they have for each module. As we complete a module, we have better clarity around what is best to address next.

We spend time upfront with our clients iterating on an SOW until it feels right. In addition to empowering our clients to have significant input into the creation of the SOW, it provides an opportunity to see how we work and get to know us. This builds confidence in the relationship and results in a tighter, better financially-targeted SOW.
