Executives ask us to provide third party guidance unencumbered by internal or vendor biases. Some are concerned that their current team, either internal and/or external, is limiting the range of options that should be considered. We pride ourselves on our track record of pushing back in a constructive aggressive manner. We are senior level leaders and are not hesitant to communicate difficult findings even if it reflects badly within the client’s organization.

One of our modules addresses identifying whether there exists an inconsistency of priorities across the IT organization or whether the IT priorities are out of sync with business priorities. We lead structured conversations with executive and management teams to assess the level of alignment in the organization. We evaluate whether there are true differences that could adversely affect organizational capability or simply misunderstanding that requires clarification.

Our Point of View

Collaboration is key. But effectively working with people requires that you change the way in which you collaborate with each individual. We will not shy away from being the bad cop if needed. That’s what you hire us for.

“Bad news early is good news”. Uncovering issues as quickly as possible means we can resolve them and move on to being productive. Likewise, if we do not believe we can provide value on an assignment, we will tell you that up front.

Direct advice provided in a constructive way is ultimately good for everyone.

We Work Differently

Our clients seek independent advice to solve difficult issues. As a third-party, we are the outside voice and don’t bring organizational bias with us. Fodere’s guidance will always be aligned with your organization’s goals.

We spend time upfront with our clients iterating on a SOW until you feel comfortable. In addition to empowering our clients to have significant input into the creation of the SOW, it provides an opportunity to see how we work and get to know us. This builds confidence in the relationship and results in a tighter, better financially targeted SOW.
